KARACHI, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Karachi is engine of national economy and we shall further improve its security environment so that positive business trajectory is maintained (Karachi’s security).

The COAS made these remarks when he visited Headquarters Pakistan Rangers Sindh in Karachi on Saturday, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). 

In a press release, the ISPR said that the Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh gave a detailed briefing about security situation of the province including law and order of Karachi.

The COAS appreciated efforts of Pakistan Rangers Sindh and all other law enforcing agencies (LEAs) for improved Karachi’s security environment.

The Commander Karachi Corps Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz also accompanied the Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
