Armed forces ready to meet challenges: CJCSCRISALPUR: The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashad Mahmood said on Thursday that Pakistan armed forces have unflinching resolve to meet the internal and external challenges.

“The country is faced with many challenges due to regional situation but the armed forces are ready to meet them,” the CJCSC said while addressing the passing-out parade of cadets at Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Academy Risalpur on Thursday.

“Our history is full of glorious selfless sacrifices for the protection of dear homeland,” General Rashad said.

The CJCSC said that the PAF enjoys a distinction in the world due to its professionalism. He said that the profession of airmen is highly challenging and demands unflinching resolve to ensure defense of the country.

Earlier, the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee inspected the guard of honor and presented shields to the outstanding cadets. The sword of honor was received by Pilot Officer Hafiz Muhammad Umar.
