Kabul: Responding to allegation of engineering election rigging against Afghan Presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah, the former head of Afghanistan’s Independent Election Commission secretariat, Zia-ul-Haq Amarkhil dispelled rigging allegations against him and has claimed that the audio tapes released by Abdullah Abdullah are fake.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday after his arrival from Dubai, Amarkhil he said his visit to UAE for three days  was related to his medical treatment.

He said he would never never leave the country and called on independent electoral complaints commission to launch probe into all allegations against him.
