Monitoring Desk: Reports coming from Kabul suggest that Afghan Army soldiers are surrounding to Taliban in several provinces.

According to available information, Kunduz city and provincial headquarter is already fallen to the Taliban, and Afghan soldiers have handed over military equipment to the Taliban and have joined them.

 

Amruddin Wali, who is a member of Kunduz’s provincial council confirmed that the Taliban have captured provincial headquarter and have installed their troops in all entries of the city.

“Sunday was a day of reclaiming Afghanistan for Taliban as there are marching freely near several cities and have already captured hundreds of government forces and their military equipment,” said Saadullah, a local journalist. Meanwhile, NYT reports the Taliban seized the city’s entrance before dispersing throughout its neighborhoods.
