Atta Tarar demands HR defenders raise voice over killings of Rangers and Police personnel

Islamabad, Pakistan:  Federal Minister Information Atta Tarar has demanded Human rights defenders raise their voices over the killings of Rangers and Police personnel who were crushed to death by PTI protesters in the early hours of November 26, 2024.

In his special televised message, Tarar who earlier claimed that PTI protesters would not enter Islamabad, said that protesters were terrorists who were using automatic weapons and tear gas shelling guns to attack Rangers and Police in Islamabad. He added that protestors were pushed back by Rangers from D-Chowk.

He also accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of bringing Afghan citizens, terrorists and criminals to Islamabad. He said he had checked the record of some miscreants who were arrested from the D-Chowk by the police, many of them were Afghan citizens and professional criminals who were found involved in dacoity in Islamabad.

Imran Khan’s message to the Pakistani nation from jail

Islamabad, Pakistan: Former prime minister Imran Khan has sent a message to his followers from jail that says:

Salute to the Pakistani nation and the workers of the PTI who stood up for their rights, are involved in peaceful protests and are standing firm for their demands and true freedom in the face of the mafia that has imposed itself on the country.

I also have a message for my team to fight till the last hair, we will not back down until our demands are met.

On the instructions of Mohsin Naqvi, the Rangers and police martyred and injured peaceful citizens by firing and shelling on our workers. He will have to answer for it!

The citizens were not only peaceful but also kept rescuing the police and Rangers who were shelling and firing.

Thank you also to the overseas Pakistanis who are not only mobilizing in Pakistan, sending funds, but also holding historic demonstrations in their respective countries.

Social media warriors should also continue to provide full coverage of our demands and the ongoing oppression in Pakistan around the world!!

Is Imran Khan’s personality as primitive as of amygdala stage?

I have a message for those who have threatened me with a trial in a military court, do whatever you want, I will not back down from my stance.

Those who have not reached yet should also reach D-Chowk.

All Pakistanis participating in the protest should remain peaceful, united and steadfast until our demands are met – this is a struggle for the survival and true freedom of Pakistan!!

Enough is enough : Mr Naqvi show grace and resign

By Dr Taimoor Ul Hassan
The entire country was blocked for a week, thousands of law enforcement agencies were deployed, and the army was called out, yet a few thousand comprising the jatha (mob) crossed every barrier leaving the policemen and rangers injured and reaching D Chowk. The police are inherently cowardly and weak and the so-called superior forces are carrying a defeatist mindset.
The entire country remained tense and life was paralyzed: the result was the Pathan dance in Islamabad and Mohsin Naqvi looking for a secret hand.
It is very simple: Mohsin Naqvi must resign. All slogan-mongering ministers and spokespersons including Ata and Uzama must resign. The world has seen enough of this tamasha. Education health and food supplies were disrupted in the name of this pathetic display of State defensive measures.
Pakistan exists without any State. It is a failed State that cannot remove a mosquito sitting on its nose. Let alone May 9, thousands whether Afghan Taliban or trained jathas have shown how weak this State has become. Stock markets are falling and foreign media is laughing at the security apparatus of a nuclear State.
The time has come to end showmanship and free the prisoner in Adiala Jail whose wife has made an entire institution appear like a standby spectator.
Pakistan cannot allow its people and children to continue to endure this constant mental torture. The Sharifs must go back to the UK and Zardari must spend the rest of his life playing with his grandchildren.
Enough is enough!

PTI protesters reached D-Chowk

Monitoring Desk: Vini vidi vici—former First Lady Bushra Bibi did it while crushing state writ under the wheels of her container and hundreds of her followers reached D-Chowk despite four-day arrangements of the federal government to stop PTI protesters at Attock Bridge.

Geo News reported that PTI workers have already reached D-Chowk. It may be mentioned that Pakistan has been facing a total media blockade for the last four days therefore checking the credibility of news is a problem because only selective media is allowed to reach D-Chowk and adjoining areas.

PTI leading Chaos in Capital:  The State must not show mercy now

DND Report

Martyrdom of policemen and Rangers personnel in violent protests raises the demand to register a murder case against former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi who led the attack on the capital city of Islamabad.

When the ‘Final Protest Call’ was given by former prime minister Imran Khan, the majority of political analysts expressed their fears that Khan wanted to get the results that he failed to get on May 9, 2023, and the result he wants is total chaos in the country and anarchy within the cadre of society.

Since the launching of Imran Khan in politics, it is a testimonial fact that he has been dividing society and sowing hatred against Pakistan and state institutions and that was the reason that he raised the slogan of ‘Naya Pakistan’ that he said would be created after dismantling existing Pakistan through a tsunami. It may be mentioned that tsunami is a symbol of disaster in human history. Moreover, his history in politics also testifies that he threw a screwdriver in the spanner of the country’s economic growth and he continues this politics of breaking the country’s economic development journey.

Some analysts call Khan’s acts a ‘planned conspiracy of  Zionist masters’ who want political instability in the country. Now some incidents have taken place in this protest after which these reservations are being proven correct.

Since yesterday, the miscreants of PTI had started flouting the constitution and law in the twin cities and they had received clear instructions from the founder of PTI and other leaders. These people have come to the fore with full preparation to create sedition and chaos. The big proof of this was the arrest of some miscreants of PTI, after which weapons, rifles, and knives were also recovered from their possession. After this, more arrests were made, most of which were of Afghans not residing in Pakistan who were brought in to create chaos after paying money.

These miscreants of PTI attacked the police at different places in Rawalpindi and pelted stones at them. A police mobile van was also destroyed. Many policemen were also injured due to their stone pelting. However, a tragic incident occurred when these miscreants attacked the policemen in which more than 70 policemen were seriously injured while one policeman, Mubashir, was martyred and suffered serious head injuries. Rangers personnel were also attacked in which three officers were martyred and three were injured. In addition, the Sangjani toll plaza was vandalized and government computers were stolen.

In light of the above facts, it has been proven that Imran Khan and his party cannot protest peacefully in any way.

PTI leading Chaos in Capital: The State must not show mercy now

On the other hand, now there has been a strong demand from the public circles that an FIR for the murder of the martyred police and Rangers personnel be lodged against the seditious persons such as Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi who gave the protest call and also issued the order to carry out violent actions. This morning, PTI followers crushed four Pakistan Rangers to death under their vehicles at Srinagar Highway Islamabad. Other incidents of crushing people under wheels included the death of two policemen while five young boys were seriously injured and were fighting for their lives.

This was not done by any fitna al-Khariji (official name of TTP) but by the miscreants of a malicious political group against the law enforcement institutions of their own country.

Enough is enough of a mockery of the state because the soft attitude of the state has brought the political miscreants to this path and they are openly attacking the law enforcement institutions. This is not a protest, but open terrorism and terrorists should be dealt with as the law of the land proposes to deal with miscreants and terrorists.

Immediate banning of this miscreant group should be considered, and the miscreants involved in attacks on law enforcement institutions should be dealt with iron hands because no country in the world tolerates such mockery of the state and its institutions.

The state should also seriously and decisively see how long it will continue to tolerate the state led by the Chief Minister of a province. It is only after the state has ignored it every time that today he is attacking the federation again with provincial resources the province and provincial government officials are providing him resources and the Establishment Division of the Federal Government has virtually failed to take any action against the State employees attacking the State.

The law must take its course immediately. If the criminals of May 9 had been punished quickly, this day would not have happened. The state will still have to take on terrorists, miscreants, and subversives to establish its writ.

At present, the resources of this province as well as thousands of illegal Afghans and government officials in civilian clothes are involved in mischief incidents in Islamabad and the government of this unfortunate province is on the verge of rebellion. Before further damage is done, it is necessary to consider taking emergency measures in the province, among which the most important option is certainly the Governor’s role in the deteriorating governance and security situation in the province so that matters can be brought under control. Otherwise, there is a risk of further damage, and delaying the situation may further worsen because the specific political party is currently focused on achieving the nefarious objectives of only one person. They have no interest in anything else. Moreover, the ruling elite should also think about why it has been failing to deal with a single person and for how long the country can carry the baggage of its failures.

The most dangerous situation is that the Federal Government has pitched the Pakistan Army against PTI protestors by using Article 245 of the Constitution, knowing that the real target of PTI had been the Pakistan Army and PTI followers had extreme hate against men in uniform. Now any eventuality such as opening fire on an unruly and criminal mob would be the responsibility of the Pakistan Army and it would help the cause of Imran Khan who is trying hard to defame the Pakistan Army globally.

Pakistan Army called in to face protesters after PTI followers crushed 3 Rangers and 1 FC personnel to death at the Srinagar highway

Monitoring Desk: PTI followers crushed three Rangers and one Frontier Constabulary personnel to death at Srinagar highway early morning of November 26, reports Geo TV. Media reports suggest that the Federal government has called the Pakistan Army to manage the law and order situation under Article 245 of the Constitution of Pakistan. PTI marchers crossed the G-11 sector and it is almost 10 KM away from D-Chowk which is the announced destination of PTI’s leadership.

It may be mentioned that the government announced that PTI protesters would not be allowed to enter the capital city of Islamabad or cross the Attock River bridge. CM Punjab announced that there would be no negotiations with terrorists or PTI followers. Information Minister Punjab in a press conference on Monday morning said that any negotiations would encourage anti-state elements. However, PTI followers managed to cross the Attock River Bridge, and enter Islamabad and the government had to offer negotiations to PTI leaders but PTI leaders refused to accept an offer of the government of facilitation to sit near the Sangjani Inter-change.

Pakistan has been facing a complete media blockade for the last three days and the capital Islamabad and Rawalpindi, have been cut off from the rest of the country as the government closed down all entry points with cargo containers but PTI followers did not stop their march towards Islamabad and successfully forced police to retreat, with reports of violent clashes and heavy stone-pelting.

Once again the total breakdown of civil administration was seen as the civil administration of Punjab province as well as of the Federal Government failed to manage the situation. PTI attacked state installations including monuments of martyrs, military installations, and even GHQ on May 9, 2023, when the country saw the failure of civil administration and culprits were released from jails on court orders thereafter. The same situation was seen in October 2024 when PTI followers announced a march towards Islamabad from Peshawar and managed to enter the capital city when Pakistan was hosting the SCO Summit. Pakistan Army was called in by Punjab and the Federal government to manage the situation and for managing the security of foreign delegates.

According to available information, 5 Rangers, two police personnel, and one civilian have been killed so far allegedly by the PTI followers who are equipped with weapons under the protection of the provincial government of the KP government. According to security sources, more than 100 police personnel have been injured so far, many of them seriously. PTI followers also ransacked the Sangjani interchange office and took away computers and cash from the spot.

Meanwhile, the Federal government announced the closure of educational institutions for an indefinite period and public transport would remain closed in both cities. Public transport and educational institutions have been closed in twin cities since Saturday.

AlJazeera news reports:

The mass convoy of PTI supporters arrived in Islamabad and made its way to the D-Chowk, an area housing key government institutions they plan to occupy.
One of Imran Khan’s senior aides, Shaukat Yousafzai, accused Pakistani security forces of excessive violence including “firing live bullets”.
Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said the government held talks with leaders of Khan’s PTI party to calm the situation, but discussions bore no fruit.
Sayed Zulfi Bukhari, a senior PTI leader and close Khan aide, categorically rejected that any kind of negotiations occurred.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said it would be “very easy” for the government to open fire on converging demonstrators, but added that it would exercise ‘restrain’ for the time being.

DW reports that 4,000 PTI followers including five parliamentarians have so far been arrested.

Political observers believe that PTI’s march towards Islamabad under the command of former First Lady Bushra Bibi can be considered as ‘hard launching of Bushra Bibi as supreme Leader of PTI in the absence of her jailed husband”.

Reporters from Islamabad claimed that panic could be seen among leaders of the ruling party since PTI started march from Peshawar towards Islamabad but Interior Minister Naqvi did not show any panic and had been handling the situation.

Journalists from Islamabad claim that the Federal government is facing multiple challenges including ongoing infighting between the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) over the ruling formula, vandalism of PTI, and weak political cadre that has failed to counter political strategies of hawkish PTI leadership. They believe that has failed to mobilize the political cadre in KP and did not collect the support of anti-PTI parties such as ANP and JUI while banning PTM also helped PTI because a majority of PTM followers could be seen in PTI’s protests
