KARACHI: Thirty suspected people were detained in operations carried out by Rangers Sindh in different parts of Karachi on Tuesday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
According to reports, the operations were conducted in Sabzi Mandi, Jumma Goth, Malir, Hazara Colony, Khadda Market. Usmanabad, Kharadar and Old Golimar.
Over sixty weapons including sub-machineguns were recovered from the possession of the accused affiliated with gang war groups and political parties, authorities said. They said that the paramilitary troops also removed barricades in six different locations in Lines Area of the metropolis.
