ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani called on the caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso on Tuesday and briefed him on the security situation of the country, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
During the meeting at the PM House in Islamabad, the Army chief congratulated Khoso over his selection as the caretaker prime minister and apprised him of his meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry.
General Kayani was on a scheduled visit to Jordan, where he met with US Secretary of State John Kerry a day earlier.
