SARGODHA: A passenger bus collided with a speedy trailer near Bhalwal Tehsil of Sargodha on Tuesday that left at least eight people including four women dead, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

Several people were also wounded in the accident, rescue sources said.

The rescue sources said a passenger bus was on its way to Bhera from Rajanpur when it collided with a trailer near Ajnala area of Bhalwal. As a result of collision, seven persons were killed while several others sustained injuries.

The injured passengers were shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital, Sargodha for treatment. The sources said that the death toll may rise.
