Business‘Made in Pakistan’ exhibition begins in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Nepal: The sixth ‘Made in Pakistan’ exhibition began in Kathmandu on Tuesday to boost bilateral trade and introduce Pakistani products in the Nepalese market.

The exhibition has been arranged by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) in collaboration with the government of Nepal, and it will continue till October 12.

The Chairman RCCI Exhibition Committee Chaudhry Abdur Rauf is representing Pakistan while the Pakistani ambassador in Nepal and the President of Pakistan-Nepal Friendship Association Rana Shamsher Ali is the chief guest in the exhibition.

In a statement, the RCCI President Mian Humayun Parvez said that Chamber is organizing exhibitions on international level to introduce the Pakistani products in international markets to increase the export volume.

The RCCI president said that Pakistani products are popular across the globe owing to their best quality.

“The industrialists should also be needed not to compromise on quality to increase demand of their products in the international markets,” he said.

Pakistani defense products can compete with best in world: Tanveer

Meanwhile addressing inauguration modern display center of Defense Export Promotion Organization in Islamabad on Tuesday, the Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanveer said that Pakistan’s defense products can compete with the best in the world.

Rana Tanveer said that the government is encouraging ‘Made of Pakistan’ products to realize the goal of economic development. He said that utilization of latest technology is inevitable in keeping with the requirements of modern time.
