vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test day two
COLOMBO: In their first inning of the second Test match against Pakistan, Sri Lanka had score 70 runs for the loss of one wicket when first day’s play ended on Thursday at the P Sara Oval in Colombo.
The Sri Lankan batsmen JK Silva and KC Sangakkara were at the crease with 21 and 18 runs respectively when the stumps were drawn. Junaid Khan from Pakistan took the only wicket.
Earlier, Pakistan in their first innings were bowled out for 138 runs. The opening batsman Muhammad Hafeez was the top scorer with 42 runs while Sri Lanka’s Tharindu Kaushal grabbed five wickets and KTGD Prasad picked up three wickets.

Pakistan is leading the three-match series against Sri Lanka 1-0 as in the first Test played at the Galle International Stadium from June 17 to 21, Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 10 wickets.
