Islamabad, Pakistan: After Bol television channel media shaking, another media shaking is in offing— This time it will be Lahore based Channel 24.

According to media insiders, senior journalist Mohsan Naqvi has sold this channel out to “an unknown” new owner and Geo famed and former head of Bol Channel Azhar Abbas will join Channel 24 soon as its new Managing Director. However, there is no official confirmation about such information and all information that are in the markets are just theories.

Media insiders claim that deal between Channel 24 and Azhar Abbas is being broking through Geo and Jang group top man and senior journalist Sohail Warriach. Media insiders claim that Mohsan Naqvi may go to buy Bol media enterprise that is in the crumbling situation due to several cases against his owner Shoiab Shaikh.

Azhar Abbas is known in the media for launching new channels and then retiring back to Geo News. He left Geo News and launched Dawn English and then he came back to Geo News where he stayed before going for new vencture of Bol News. He was in the process of launching Bol television when Bol Media enterprise faced a fake degree scam and now his owner is in jail. Now this Channel 24 will be a new venture and new launching by Azhar Abbas.

Channel 24 that is a current affairs channel that is being shifted to 24/7 news channel after these new shake ups.
