Talking to media representatives in Islamabad, the minister said that the nation as a whole has made the pledge to make Pakistan free of terrorism.

“As nation we should talk of love and tolerance and avoid getting furious very soon,” Rasheed said.

The information minister said that the military operation Zarb-e-Azb against militants in the tribal areas will continue till elimination of last terrorist from the country.

His statement about the militancy in the country came a few days after 45 members of the Ismaili community were massacred in a deadly terrorist attack on their bus in Karachi’s Safoora Goth area.

Regarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPCE), the minister said that there is a need to work more vigorously to turn this dream into reality.

Moreover, he said that work on several mega power generation projects is going on and after three years 10,000 to 12,000 megawatts of electricity would be added to the national grid.
