Passenger bus collides with truck near Khairpur, 14 killed

KHAIRPUR, Pakistan: A passenger bus collided with a truck in Khairpur district of southern Sindh province on Wednesday morning that left at least 14 persons including women dead and 14 others injured.

The accident took place near Setharja area of Khairpur district where a Karachi bound bus collided with a truck after the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle.

The passenger bus was travelling from Islamabad to Karachi when it met the fatal accident.

The dead bodies and injured persons were brought to the Khairpur Civil Hospital where an emergency had already been declared.

Meanwhile, the security teams also reached the accident site.
