LAHORE: The Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) on Wednesday proposed Justice (retd) Syed Zahid Hussain and Hafeez Randhawa for appointment as caretaker Chief Minister in Punjab, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz in a letter sent to the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif sent names for the post of caretaker Chief Minister in Punjab.
The PPP leaders expressed the hope that CM Shahbaz Sharif would agree on one of the two names.
