Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to join PML-N soon: Arbab Ghulam Raheem

KARACHI, Pakistan: The former Chief Minister Sindh Arbab Ghulam Raheem has said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would join the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) soon.

Talking to media upon his arrival to attend the session of the Sindh assembly in Karachi on Thursday, the ex-chief minister Sindh said that Bilawal Bhutto will soon join the PML-N as predicted by late Pir Pagara.

Meanwhile talking to media in Karachi, the Sindh information minister and the PPP leader Sharjeel Memon asked Arbab Ghulam Rahim to mention his political affiliation, saying that the former CM Sindh changes party every week.

The provincial information minister said that Arbab Ghulam Raheem and Liaqat Jatoi worked against public interest. He said that Raheem changes parties more than weather.

The differences between Bilawal and his father, the PPP Co-Chairman and former President Asim Ali Zardari, continue to be unresolved. The differences emerged after the PPP’s relations with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) soured because of Bilawal’s indiscreet statements.

Likewise, differences also emerged after certain appointments were made by Bilawal without consulting his father Zardari.

Last month, Zardari also went to London to persuade Bilawal to return to Pakistan to attend the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto on December 27. However, his efforts did not yield any positive results.

"We will continue to stand firmly for ending violence against the Palestinians. Without a shadow of a doubt, we will continue to expose the abuses and sanctimony with which the US is handling the situation.
