Muslims across Pakistan to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) on Sunday

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) will be celebrated with great religious fervour and enthusiasm across the country on Sunday amid special security arrangements.

It is celebrated on the birthday of the last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) which occurs on 12 Rabi-ul-Awal, the third month in the Islamic calendar.

It will be a Public holiday and special security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order across the country on this occasion.

Likewise, mosques‚ buildings‚ markets and main streets will be decorated with colourful banners and lights.

In connection with the day, special conferences, events and Mahafil-e-Naat will also be arranged in almost all parts of the country.

The Milad processions will be taken out to pay reverence and homage to Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) on his birth day.

The main event of the day will be holding of the National Seerat Conference in Islamabad at which prominent Ulema will highlight various aspects of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) calling upon people to follow the teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) for their salvation.

Shahbaz orders foolproof security

On the occasion of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed to ensure foolproof security arrangements in the province.

The Chief Minister directed that senior police and administrative officers should personally remain present in the field while elected representatives should monitor security arrangements.

Shahbaz Sharif stressed the relevant security plan should be strictly implemented.

Important Milad processions in Karachi

In Karachi, three important processions will be taken out while various Milad functions will also be organized in the city to mark the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

A Milad procession is being originated on Sunday from the Kakri ground at 10:30 am which will terminate at the Memon mosque after passing through Nawab Mahabat Khanji Road, Jamaat Khan, G. Allana Road and Merewether Tower.

The second important procession will begin from the Memon mosque at 2.30 pm and culminate at the Aram Bagh Mosque passing through M.A. Jinnah Road, Tibet Centre, Regal Chowk and Shahrah-e-Liaquat.

The third important procession will emerge from the Memon Mosque at 3:00 pm which will conclude at the Nishtar Park, after passing through the M.A. Jinnah Road, Tibet Centre and Numaish.

Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) in Balochistan

The Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) will also be celebrated in Balochistan with great religious fervour and enthusiasm as elsewhere in the country tomorrow.

In Quetta, main Milad procession will be taken out from Sariab Road while small processions will also be taken out from various areas of the city which will merge into the main procession at Bacha Khan Chowk.

The prominent Ulema and Scholars during their sermon will highlight the various aspects of the Seerat to pay homage to Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) on his birth day.
