Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade for Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Now you upgrade Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to android 5.0 lollipop
Well Android 5.0 is finally here and it’s making quite a splash with Nexus users thanks to its sleek Material Design and fast response time. Of course, we can understand the jealousy of almost anyone who doesn’t own a Nexus device but you have to understand that for any non Nexus device to get the official update would take a lot of time. However, that being said if you’re someone who’s feeling a bit adventurous you can always opt to flash in a custom ROM onto your device just to be able to enjoy the Android 5.0 Lollipop experience on your Galaxy Note 4 or S5 or any other device by simply following our guide below.

Prerequisites: You will require a custom ROM installed on your device. Also since you’re thinking of installing a new ROM to your device, do remember that doing so will wipe everything off of your device’s internal memory. So make a backup of anything you want to save.
Guide:
- Download the custom ROM and simply place it on your phone’s SD card or internal memory.
- Boot your device into recovery mode by first turning off your device and then restarting it while holding the Power + Vol. Down. + Home key at the same time.
- Once in recovery, go to the option: “Flash from SD card” or “Flash from .zip file” and simply select the ROM you downloaded.
- Once that’s done, do a full factory reset and delvik cache wipe.
- Do remember that you will need to flash in Google Apps to have all the juicy Google utilities available for your device. To do that, simply flash in the GApps package included with the ROM and do a full device wipe again.
- Restart your device and voila!
You will now have Android 5.0 up and running on your Galaxy Note 4 or any other device of your choice.
