ISEO

International Schools Educational Olympiad conducted in Pakistan on the closing day on 15th November comprised of a number of events. These events were based on the competitions being conducted from the class 9th to A-levels and performed different acts. The event is comprised on different themes including folk dancing, impersonations, singing, poetry and theatre.

Students made a film as well naming it “City of Joy” being judged by Maheen Zia, Faizan Haqque, Riffat Aaliani and Syed Ali Nasir. An application was also described by the students in the form of video being judged by Rabia Garib, Ejaz and Talea Zafar. However, the last and the final day of competition was a theatre day, where a number of students showed their skills in terms of performance and acting. The theatre was being judged by Adnan Jafer, Nuzhat Kidwai, Momin Zafar, Zara Mumtaz and Frederick O. Nazareth. The play was based on the theme of traditional myth.

Conclusion of the ISEO 2014 was laid down by revealing the results and presenting the prizes by the chief guests, Education Minister, Sindh Government Mr. Nisar Khurro and Dr. Atta Ur Rehman, a scientist and also a President of Pakistan Academy of Sciences.

The ISEO competition is being held every year among the students of Grade 4 to A-levels/intermediate and is a forum of promoting education and learning among the students. British Council, Thai Limited and Engro Foundation have been the sponsors of this event, whereas, ToffeeTV.com is the partner.

We will not allow the Americans to gag the entire council with their hands in an effort to encourage further continuation of Israel's ruthless operation," he said in a speech at the Security Council.
