Aitzaz Ahsan rules out possibility of mid-term elections

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader and the leader of opposition in Senate Aitzaz Ahsan has ruled out possibility of mid-term elections in the country.

Talking to newsmen outside the parliament in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that the opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has already apologized on the use of word “Mohajir”.

The PPP senior leader said that despite his apology, the MQM has tried to drag the issue.

Aitzaz Ahsan also regretted the remarks of Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed in the Gujrat rally organized by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
