ISLAMABAD: Following the arrest of Shar Shah Mahsood, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) who is TTP chief for Karachi, law enforcing agencies have credible information that TTP is planning attacks and abductions in Islamabad. Prime targets are foreigners working with private multinational companies, lower staffers of embassies who live outside Diplomatic Enclave, personals of Pakistan Army and Election Commission of Pakistan.

According to reliable sources working closely with intelligence networks, Interior Ministry of Pakistan has passed Red Alert in Islamabad to concerned authorities as Lashkar-i-Jhangvi, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Ghazi Force (former so-called force of students of Lal Masjid) had planned Something Big in Islamabad. Security has tightened at Noor Khan Airbase, Islamabad Airport and Military hospitals including AFIC and CHM.

“Karachi targeted action and arrest of children from Quetta who were being used for terrorism activities have created havoc for terrorists. Shar Mahsood arrest in Karachi has strongly antagonised them and they want to spread terror all over the country and prime target is in Islamabad so government can divert attention to other places from Karachi and Quetta. We have credible information that “something bib” has been planned by terrorists and we are on it to defuse it”, comments a top law enforcing agency official on the condition of anonymity as he is not authorities to talk with media.
