Kaymu Launches Android App in Pakistan

LAHORE: Kaymu.pk, an online marketplace, has launched its mobile app in Pakistan for Android users, says a press release issued by Kaymu.

The online shopping app is designed to provide a convenient platform for buyers and seller on the go.

The app will further enhance user experience by bringing buying and selling to the fingertips of Kaymu’s users. Pakistan has over 130 million cellular subscribers and this App will help Kaymu.pk capture a wider audience throughout the country.

Speaking about the launch of the App, Kaymu Pakistan’s Country Manager Adam Dawood stated, “Pakistan is about to face a huge spike in online commerce. With the large number of mobile users and sales of smartphones estimated to grow to 40% of the market from the current 15-20%, our new mobile app will help position us to reach users who do not have access to computers regularly. Through this app we would like to reassert our commitment to the market and further cement Kaymu.pk as the leading marketplace platform in Pakistan.”

Kaymu’s mobile app will allow customers to order products on the go and also allow sellers to monitor the numbers of orders they are receiving and even add new products while on the move.

According to recent claims by an official of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) 3G users in Pakistan have reached 2.5million users. This figure is set to grow in the coming months as telecom operators expand 3G coverage to different parts of the country. The growing popularity of 3G services has made it essential for businesses in today’s day and age to have a presence on mobile platforms. Kaymu’s App aims to do just that while bringing online shopping experience to users hands.

The Kaymu mobile app is available for download on Android devices through the Google Play Store Here.
