PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The security forces killed at least six militants and injured seven others in Bara tehsil of Khyber agency as a part of their Operation Khyber-I to eliminate militants from the tribal region.
The security sources said that the militant casualties occurred when clashes took place between the security forces and militants in the Sipah area of Bara tehsil on Thursday.
The security forces launched Operation Khyber-I last week, intensifying their efforts to counter militants in the Khyber tribal region.
