Pakistan fully capable to respond any Indian aggression: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal minister for defence Khawaja Asif said on Thursday that Pakistan is fully capable to respond to any Indian aggression.

In a statement, the minister said that we do not want to convert border tension between two nuclear neighbors into a confrontation.

The defence minister said that India should act in a responsible manner.

Earlier, the Indian defence minister Arun Jaitley issued a warning to Pakistan, saying the neighbouring country will have to pay a heavy price if it does not stop its adventurism at the border.

“Pakistan is the aggressor, but it must realize that our deterrence will be credible. If Pak persists with this adventursim, our forces will make the cost of this adventurism unaffordable,” Times of India quoted Jaitley as saying on Thursday.
