ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari congratulated Xi Jinping for becoming China’s new president on Thursday, with a hope that multifaceted friendship between two countries would further strengthen and touch new heights, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

In a message of felicitation to his new Chinese Counterpart‚ President Zardari said that the confidence reposed in Jinping’s leadership by the National People’s Congress was a testament to his hard work and years of devoted service to the people of China.

The President expressed the hope that China would achieve many more momentous milestones in its pursuit of national rejuvenation and peaceful development under his able leadership.

President Asif Ali Zardari expressed the hope that all-weather and multifaceted friendship between Pakistan and China would further strengthen and touch new heights.
