QUETTA, Pakistan: At least 12 militants were killed when the security forces launched an operation against them in Turbat area of Balochistan’s Kech district on Friday evening, the Frontier Corps (FC) spokesman Khan Wasey said.
The FC spokesman said that heavy weapons were used when an exchange of fire erupted between the security forces and the militants.
Khan Wasey said that arms and ammunition were also recovered during the operation.
