Nisar, Shahbaz meet army chief; discuss PTI's long march

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The federal minister for interior Chaudhry Nisar Khan and the chief minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.

The sources said that they discussed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) long march towards the federal capital and overall political and security situation of the country during the meeting.

Following the meeting with the COAS, both the federal interior minister and the Punjab chief minister called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad and apprised him about their negotiations with the army chief.
