Security forces’ convoy attacked in Turbat, two security personnel killed

QUETTA, Pakistan: Unknown gunmen opened fire at a convoy of security forces in Turbat area of Balochistan province on Thursday, killing at least two security personnel and injuring six others.

The incident took place when the security forces’ convoy was passing through the Nasirabad area in Turbat.

In response to the attack, the security forces also opened fire on attackers and killed two of them while the remaining assailants escaped in their vehicles.

The security personnel cordoned off the area as a search operation went under way.
