QUETTA, Pakistan: An explosion occurred in Chaman area of Balochistan province on Thursday that left at least eight persons including two police officials injured.
A police official Mir Ahmed said that an improvised explosive device (IED) was planted in a bicycle parked outside the residence of a government official near Chaman jail which went off.
The blast also damaged several vehicles.
The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.
