US Senate report detailing CIA torture techniques

Monitoring Desk: Washington: The US Senate report detailing torture techniques employed by CIA agents illegally will be released soon. This report is all about post 9/11 detentions and the torture techniques employed by CIA agents targeting suspected militants.

It may be mentioned that this officially “unreleased” was released unofficially by Associated Press reporter. White House believes that it “unintentionally” emailed a document detailing the findings of this report to an Associated Press reporter.

This report tells how CIA employed used to do slapping, humiliation, sleep-deprivation, exposure to cold temperatures, and waterboarding in its attempts to interrogate suspects.

US President Barack Obama has already acknowledged that the CIA was involved illegally for torturing detainees.

“We did a whole lot of things that were right, but we tortured some folks. We did some things that were contrary to our values,” said the US President.
