Pakistan called Afghan diplomats to Foreign Office for protesting terrorist attacks on a military check posts from the Afghan soil

Islamabad, Pakistan: Pakistan called Afghan diplomats to Foreign Office for protesting terrorist attacks from Afghan soil. Pakistan Foreign Office called Afghan diplomats to Foreign Office today and protested against constant terrorist attacks on a military check post near Lower Dir from the Afghan side.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, the Afghan Charge d’ Affaires was called to the Foreign Office in Islamabad. The Afghan authorities were asked to take action against those who are targeting Pakistan Army check post from across the border. Afghan soil was used against Pakistan since Pakistan Army launched operation against terrorists in its tribal areas bordering Afghanistan.

The ministry further stated that Pakistan would also be taking up this matter with the Afghan Government at a higher level in the broader context of enhancing security along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

Pakistan killed six militants on the night of July 29-30 when around 70 to 80 terrorists launched cross-border attack on Pakistan military post between Tripaman and Inkal Sar areas.
