Henna or Mehndi is mix paste that comes in a cone shaped tube and then is applied on skin into designs for women. The word Mehndi is actually derived from the Sanskrit word mendhikā. The use of mehndi and turmeric has a lot to do with the earliest Hindu Vedic ritual books. Originally it was used for only women’s palms but now it is used in subcontinent on many occasions.
