Ukrainian prime Arseniy Yatsenyuk minister resigns

KIEV, Ukraine: The Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has resigned after collapse of the ruling coalition.

“I am announcing my resignation in connect with the collapse of the coalition,” Yatsenyuk said in Ukraine’s parliament.

Yatsenyuk said that the parliament was no longer capable of doing its work or passing necessary laws.

The Ukrainian prime minister said that the emerging crisis has hurt the nation’s fight against pro-Russian rebels.

His resignation came as several parties have withdrawn from the majority European Choice coalition in anticipation of early parliamentary polls.

He said that after the collapse of the coalition, he left with two options.

“Split one coalition. Prime Minister begins the process of forming a new coalition. This means that he must take a coalition of communists and regions. I will not do it no circumstances under which “- he said.

“Second – if not a new coalition, the government and the Prime must submit a resignation. I declare about the resignation in connection with the collapse of the coalition and blocking government initiatives “- said Yatsenyuk.

“Yes, most people want early elections. And we want. Only there is one important thing. What is the difference between a national leader and a politician? The difference is that a national leader takes responsibility, “- said Yatsenyuk.

Yatsenyuk stressed that “the coalition has wrecked today consequences – laws that have filled the revenue side of the budget, has failed.” “Who wants to go to the polls and vote for both unpopular laws?” – He said indignantly.

“Our government has no answer at once the question of what to pay wages than me tomorrow morning to fill APCs than for any money, how to keep the army and the armed forces as not to demoralize the spirit of tens of thousands of people who do not sit in the hall, and there trench under fire, “- he said.

“That broke the coalition that voted no laws and no money to pay the soldier, a policeman, a doctor, to fill the APC decided not to fill the Ukrainian gas storage and overwinter to be released from Russian gas dependence is unacceptable,” – he said.

“Once when the coalition fell apart when the law failed to TCU, yet all understand, dear friends. We first want to allow the true European and American campaign and with the approval of the Parliament of Ukraine to managing GTS and only 49% state-owned pipe, a controlling stake in gosvladenii, and even the decision had stopped, “- he said.

“What hurts me most of all, now that the applause in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. That’s who now has won, that’s who celebrates today, and that’s who will bankovat “- outraged Yatsenyuk.

According to the law, after claiming the prime minister, the government’s dismissal should vote Verkhovna Rada. Only in this case, all the government together with the head of the Cabinet are retired.
