RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: As the military operation Zarb-e-Azb continues successfully against militants in the North Waziristan tribal region, at least 13 more militants mostly foreigners were killed while seven of their hideouts destroyed during the latest airstrikes in the area on Saturday, the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) said.

The ISPR said that a huge cache of arms and ammunition was also destroyed during air attacks.

It said that three militants including one Uzbek were apprehended from Boya area of North Waziristan.

The Pakistan army media wing said that two explosive laden vehicles were destroyed through aviation strike at Degan while two suicide bombers were identified and chased who exploded themselves when encircled close to Boya.

Moreover, it said that the army is also consolidating its control on Dattakhel road.
