Ramazan moon not sighted in Pakistan

KARACHI: The Ramazan moon was not sighted on Saturday (Sha’ban-ul-Moazzam 29) in any part of the country, therefore the 1st of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak 1435 Hijri would be on Monday.

The announcement was made by the Chairman of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman after the meeting of the committee held in Karachi on Saturday evening.

All Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees also held meetings at their respective headquarters for the sighting of the crescent. However, there was no report of Ramazan moon sighting from any part of the country.

Ramazan moon not sighted in India, Bangladesh 

Meanwhile, the Ramazan moon was not sighted in India and Bangladesh on Saturday evening, therefore the first day of the holy fasting month will be on Monday in those countries.
