ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that the national unity is inevitable for the success of military operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ against militants in the North Waziristan tribal region.

In a meeting with the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday, the prime minister said that Pakistan is fighting a decisive war against militants and the jawans engaged in this war will be extended full support.

The prime minister said that militants will be defeated at all costs. He further said that the internally displaced people will be given full assistance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Punjab chief minister apprised the prime minister about the Model Town incident.
