Pakistan can’t level any allegation against any country without proof: FO

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan said on Thursday that it can’t level any allegation against any country without having a sufficient proof, adding that an investigation regarding use of foreign made weapons in the Karachi terrorist incident is underway.

In her weekly briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, the Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said that a comprehensive investigation of the incident is underway to determine the facts.

The media reports had said that Indian-made arms and ammunition were carried by the militants who launched an attack on Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on Sunday night.

Pakistan to provide security on Pak-Afghan border during election

The Foreign Office spokesperson said that Pakistan fully supports peaceful election and transfer of power in Afghanistan in democratic way.

“Pakistan will provide security on the Pak-Afghan border during both the phases of Afghan presidential election,” Aslam said.
