ISLAMABAD: The federal minister for information Pervaiz Rasheed on Wednesday criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan for his alleged links with the Taliban, saying first they were ideological partners but now they have become strategic partners and are out to harm national interests.

Talking to media after visiting an educational Expo in Islamabad on Wednesday, the information minister said that Imran khan is performing the duty to destabilize democratic system while his strategic partners are busy to disturb peace by spreading terrorism.

Rasheed said that Dr Tahirul Qadri is also working to promote their agenda and working to destabilize democratic institutions and the system. But, he said, the government will foil their designs with the support of democratic forces.

The information minister further said that the state will respond with full force to the terrorists to ensure protection of the people, security institutions and national installations.

The federal government will talk to those who will surrender but will use force against the terrorists and will leave no stone unturned to wipe them out, he said.

The minister said that when and where ever the State will feel any threat it will take steps to curb it without any delay.
