President Mamnoon to pay four-day visit to Nigeria from June 9

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain will pay a four-day official visit to Nigeria from June 9, the first presidential visit to Nigeria from Pakistan in the last three decades.

During his stay in Abuja, the president will have one-on-one meeting with his Nigerian counterpart Goodluck Jonathan which will be followed by delegation level talks.

The senior Nigerian officials including ministers and governors of different states of Nigeria will also call on the president.

The Foreign Office said that the president’s visit to Nigeria will give a new impetus to our trade relations and provide a welcome opportunity to discuss ways and means for further strengthening of economic and trade relations.

The president will also address the Business Forum in Abuja and in Lagos. In addition, he will also announce the establishment of a commercial section in Lagos.
