CCI holds it meeting in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Council of Common Interests (CCI) held its meeting in Islamabad on Thursday under the chairmanship of Prime Minsiter Nawaz Sharif.

During the meeting, it was decided that the provincial governments will forward their suggestions to the center regarding legislation about restoration of executive magistracy system within 15 days.

In the meeting, the provinces allowed the finance ministry to receive 25 percent amount of electricity bills in advance.They agreed to pay in advance the 25 percent of electricity bills to the finance ministry. Later within 60 days, the deducted amount will be adjusted.

The provinces assured that the staff of various departments transferred after the 18th amendment will be absorbed and legislation will be made in this regard.

The provinces appreciated the government’s policy of loans mechanism.
