NOWSHERA: Security forces arrested a senior commander of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and his fellow from Kheshgi on Wednesday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
Qari Basit, a key TTP commander, was arrested along with his other fellow by security forces on a tip off on Wednesday. The security forces, later, shifted them to an undisclosed location, sources said.
The sources said that Basit was the mastermind of numerous terror attacks carried out in Peshawar, Mardan and Nowshera and the government had announced a bounty for his arrest.
