Muhammad Salman Khan reports for Dispatch News Desk
Islamabad: There are major parties in the parliament of Pakistan. Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Awami National Party (ANP, Muthida Quami Movement (MQM), Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (Fazlur Rehman-F) JUI (F), Jamaat Islami (JI) and Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI). PMLN is in treasury benches in Centre and province of Punjab, MQM and PPP are having government in province of Sindh, PTI and JI has government in Khybar Pakhtun Khawa (KPK) province. While JUI has its engross in province of Baluchistan and KPK both.
PTI believes that rest of all six political parties except JI and PTI are corrupt and responsible for bad governess and all ills Pakistan is facing today. PTI has become main stream party after 2013 general elections that according to PTI were rigged.
PTI is holding a public rally in Islamabad outside Parliament House at D Chok to protest against election rigging on the first anniversary of 2013 general elections. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri have announced to launch a massive protest movement against the rigging and corruption but PAT chief who is Canadian citizen is not coming to Pakistan indicated by reports and he will deliver his speech via video link from Canada. JI will also attend this rally but its chief (Ameer) will not attend rather its local leadership from Islamabad will attend the meeting along with some leaders from Sindh.
It is expected that PTI and PAT will have good show in Islamabad as PAT has potential to gather mob through its country-wide networking of Minhajul Quran educational institutions. PTI is expected a crowd of more than half a million. May 11 will show the stret power and political strength of PTI and PAT. However PTI claimed on Saturday that federal government of PMLN and Punjab government of PMLN are creating hurdles for PTI regarding gathering public transport and trying to stop transporters from Punjab to give buses to PTI for this rally. This is normal in Pakistan that sitting government tries to create transportation problem for protests against it.
There are some news in social media as well as in print media that PTI Chief Imran Khan is indulge in some relations with a lady immorally but PTI denied this news strongly stating that this is a defamation campaign against Imran Khan to stop him to work against corrupt government of Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf commonly known as PTI is a right wing nationalist political party in Pakistan, which was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party is an anti-status quo movement advocating for an egalitarian and modern model of Islamic democratic welfare state and believes in talks with Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and placing TTP in main stream politics as members of TTP are also sons of soil according to PTI and they should not be left outside mainstream politics. It is the fastest growing political party in Pakistan. The PTI claims to be the only non-family party of mainstream Pakistani politics. and it is claimed to be Pakistan’s largest party by membership. It leads a coalition government in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
