Treason case: Special court directs to handover FIA report to Musharraf’s counsel

ISLAMABAD: The special court formed to try former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf for high treason on Thursday directed to handover the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) report to the counsel of the accused till May 14.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Faisal Arab and comprising Justice Tahira Safdar and Justice Yawar Ali issued its short verdict in the treason case in Islamabad on Thursday.

The court said that the process of collecting evidences will begin on May 22 and later adjourned the hearing of the case till May 14.
