Three security officials killed in Lakki Marwat

LAKKI MARWAT: Three security officials were killed and three others sustained injuries on Monday in a clash with militants in Shadi Khel, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 17 December, 2012.

According to police officials, the insurgents armed with guns and rockets stormed a security check post in Lakki Marwat.In the ensuing clash, three soldiers were killed while three others, including a Major, were wounded.

At least 19 foreigners were arrested from Chaghai and Karachi in crackdown by the law-enforcers following the attack that rocked Peshawar on Saturday and Sunday, police told Dispatch News Desk (DND).

No weapons were recovered from the foreigners, who seemed to have come from Afghanistan.The police arrested two foreigners from the Super Highway Toll Plaza near Karachi during checking.
