MIRAMSHAH: The Pakistan’s military gunship helicopters attacked militant hideouts in North Waziristan tribal region as well as the security forces conducted search operations which continued for about 30 minutes.
However, there was no report of any casualty.
The attack was carried out after an improvised explosive device went off on Ghulam Khan Road near in North Waziristan that left one security person injured.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast which took place at a time when the shura of the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is meeting to decide the future of peace talks and the TTP ceasefire which expired on April 10.
