PESHAWAR: The Afghan National Army fired at least 23 mortar shells from the country’s eastern Khost province on Thursday which landed in Ghulam Khan and Bagi Dar areas of Pakistan’s North Waziristan tribal region.

However, no casualties or loss of life was reported due to the targeted areas being uninhabited.

Earlier on March 29, at least six mortar shells fired from Afghanistan fell into North Waziristan’s Ghulam Khan Tehsil area without causing any casualties or damage.
