ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday lifted the ban imposed on hiring in public sector institutions, and allowed government organizations to fill vacant positions.
The prime minister allowed government departments to hire contingent staff on daily wages and with temporary status as per genuine requirements.
Moreover, he also directed heads of government departments to strictly follow applicable rules and regulations and conduct the process in a transparent manner based on merit.
