QUETTA: Unknown armed men on motorcycle opened fire on a polio team in Nasarabad area of Balochistan’s Loralai district on Thursday that left one police man killed, police said.
The police man was assigned to protect the team of polio workers who were engaged in an anti-polio drive in Loralai bazar. But the police man was targeted by unknown gunmen who managed to escape on their motorcycle after killing him.
Police and levies personnel reached the spot and started an investigation of the incident.
