‘Total Siyapaa’ glorifies Pakistan, should immediately be banned: Hindu organization

NEW DELHI: Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam starrer bollywood movie ‘Total Siyapaa’ should immediately be banned because the film glorifies Pakistan, a Hindu right wing organization Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) demanded.

The Indian media reported on Thursday, the HJS demanded of the Central Board of Film Certification to cancel the film`s censor certificate.

‘Total Siyappa’ is a romantic comedy about a Pakistani guy who falls in love with Indian girl and how he faces all the trouble to get approval from the girl’s family.

The movie, released worldwide on March 7, was directed by Eshvar Niwas, who had earlier directed films like Shool, Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, Dum and My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves.

Manoj Solanki, the HJS convenor, raised strong objection against some dialogues in the film and said that thousands of Indian citizens were killed due to Pakistan-sponsored terror activities, but certain dialogues in the film are anti-national and in glorification of Pakistan.
