Five killed including three security personnel in Quetta blast

QUETTA: Three security personnel among five other people were killed and several others were injured when a powerful bomb went off in Shahbaz Town here on Wednesday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 21 November, 2012.

According to police officials, the bomb was attached to a motorbike which was parked near the main road in Shahbaz Town. As soon as the vehicle of security forces reached there, the explosive device went off with a big bang followed by intense firing.

Initial investigations suggested that the blast was caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attached to a motorcycle, CCPO Quetta Mir Zubair, while talking to newsmen on the spot, said.
