Four Hazaras killed in Quetta

QUETTA: In a fresh wave of target killings, four persons belonging to the Hazara community were killed and two others wounded on the Spinny Road on Tuesday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 06 November, 2012.

Police officials said that unidentified armed men riding a motorcycle attacked a car, in which five persons were traveling from Quetta city to Hazara Town. The attackers opened indiscriminate fire from automatic weapons, killed three persons instantly and fled from the scene leaving behind the deceased in a pool of blood.

Police said that one person was injured seriously when after the incident angry protesters opened fire with modern weapons. The injured was shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment. But, he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

The Hazara Democratic Party has strongly condemned killings of three persons and held the provincial government responsible for the killings.
